Analogue Photography

It’s almost like I’m there…

Coming from a background of endless stories about home and how it used to be,
how beautiful it used to be, it becomes difficult sometimes not to imagine what it
would be like living there. When I wonder around and come across certain objects
or places my mind automatically starts to think, “Home could look like this.”

When making this photograph I thought a lot about the place I believed could
represent my hometown Jaffa in Palestine and when I came across this wooden
table and chairs all I could think of was how the whole family is gathered around
this small humble table and it all becomes just a vivid imagination not too far
away from reality.

So what is it that makes my home so different so appealing?

My home can only be imagined.
